POKHARA
The rare combination of snow-clad peaks and snow fed lakes

BARAHI TEMPLE:
Built on an island in Phewa Lake, this two
storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of
ajima, the protector’s deity representing the female
force. Devotees can be seen, especially on Saturdays, carrying
animals across the lake to be sacrificed to the deity
DEVI’S FALL:
Locally Known as Patale Chhango, Devi’s
fall (Also Known As Devil’s, Devin’s David’s)
Is an Awesome Waterfall Lying about 2 Km South West of Pokhara
Airport on the Highway to Tansen. Legend Has It That A Trekker
(Devin, David) Was Washed Away By The Phardi Khola And Disappeared
Down Into An Underground Passage Beneath The Fall.
GUPTESWAR GUPHA:
Is A Sacred Located Near Devis Fall. The
Cave Is Almost 3 Km Long. It Has Some Big Hall size Rooms
And Some Passage. This Cave Holds Special Value For Hindus
Since A Phallic Symbol Of Lord Shiva Is Preserved Here In
The Condition It Was Discovered. Taking Pictures inside
the Cave Is Prohibited
FEWA LAKE:

(Optional) Boat trip in the lovely Phewa Lake
is the foremost attraction of Pokhara. Paddling out into
the middle of the lake is a nice way to spend a quite afternoon.
Phewa lake is the largest lake in Pokhara valley and the
second largest lake in Nepal. Encircled by Sarangkot and
Kaskikot hills, the lake holds a pagoda-style temple. Another
attraction is the reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre and
Annapurna range on the crystal clear water of the lake.
While boating in Phewa Lake, you can see several verities
of fish.

PASHUPATINATH
6kms/4miles from Kathmandu City, Pashupatinath Temple is
one of the holiest Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank
of the sacred Baghmati River, the temple built in Pagoda
Style has gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors
will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank
of River Baghmati, entrance in the temple being strictly
forbidden to all non Hindus. Pashupatinath is the centre
of annual pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri which falls
in the month of February/March. Behind the temples are the
cremation grounds.
BOUDHNATH
This Stupa situated 11km/7 miles from Kathmandu City is
one of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stand with
four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping
watch for righteous behavior and human prosperity. This
Buddhist Stupa was built by King Man Deva at the advice
of the Goddess Mani Jogini. It is built on an octagonal
base inset with prayer wheels. The shrine is ringed by houses
of Lamas or Buddhist priests.

KATHMANDU CITY
Known as Kantipur Nagri, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal.
Here you will visit the temple of the Living Goddess who
acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony
of her temple residence. Kashtamandap the source of the
name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of
a single tree and the Durbar Square
are with its array of
temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient
place of the Nepalese Royalty.
SWAYAMBHUNATH
Located approximately 4 kms. /2.5 miles, this Buddhist Stupa
is said to be 2000 years old. The Stupa which forms the
main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of brick
and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle
of Copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire
are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic
of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples.
Day 06 (Kathmandu-Departure

Day 02 – Kathmandu /
Early in

morning, go for Everest Mountain flight at 6:30am to view

the snow capped peaks of the Himalayan range. It is also
gives one of the closest views of the mountains that you can
get without having to go for a trek. After mountain flight,
come back to hotel.
After
breakfast then we will take a guided full day tour of the
city of Kathmandu. A visit to the
Boudhanath Stupa is a
must. The Buddhist site belongs to the Vajrayana sect of
Buddhism but is revered by all. The White Stupa is a massive
structure. An air of spirituality looms large and at that
moment you will feel the nobility of Buddhist spirituality.
Around the Stupa, there are shops selling Buddhist
artifacts. After Boudhanath, we head to the Hindu temple of
Pashupati Nath. Pashupati simple means “Lord of the Beasts”.
This temple is considered the holiest of all temples in
Nepal and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pashupati Nath is
Shiva in good mood. Last rites are performed on the premises
of this temple and from afar you can even see a Hindu
last-rites being performed.
Swayambhunath is the most ancient and enigmatic
of the Valley’s holy shrines the golden-sired stupa of
Swayambhunath tops a wooded hillock. Records of its history
date as far as the 5th century, but its origins are believed
to be older. Back to Hotel and overnight stay at Kathmandu
hotel. Kathmandu Durbar
Square ; It is the number one tourist attraction
swarms with life. Though a few of the square’s 50-plus
monuments date from the 12th century, most are from the time
of the Malla Kings. Probably the most famous building here
is the Kumari Bahal, a building richly decorated with
beautiful woodcarvings, which is home to the Royal Kumari,
the Living Goddess, a manifestation of the great goddess
Durga. Nearby the former Royal Palace is a Mall Dynasty
dwelling, once considerably more extensive than today.
Within, the courtyard Nassal Chowk, originally hosted
dramatic dance performances, now it is the coronation site
of the Shah kings and contains some of the finest wood
carvings you will see anywhere in the kingdom and leisure.
Day 03 – Kathmandu/– Pokhara : Pokhara is a beautiful
natural city. It takes 6-7 hours on drive from Kathmandu.
200 KM west of Kathmandu. ON the way we will do 3 hours
river rafting in Trushuli river. Reach to Pokhara and hotel
check in
Day 04 :
Pokhara : Early morning visit Sarangkot – a beautiful hill
of Pokhara and best to view Mount Annapurna and Fishtail
Himalaya range. Today you will visit Bindebasini Temple.
This is one of the oldest temples in Pokhara was a part of
Kaski Kingdom, the main deity of the temple,Goddess Durga.
Sightseeing to Devi’s fall, also known as Patale Chango is
an awesome waterfall lying 2 km southwest of Pokhara. Just
opposite of Devi’s fall, on the other side of the road,
there is Gupteshwor Cave. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 –
Pokhara / Kathmandu
Drive
back to Kathmandu retracing the same path and further drive
to Nagarkot. Rest day at leisure.

Nagarkot/Kathmandu
Early in
the morning you will have to see the sunrise views with
enchanting Himalayan ranges from the Nagarkot hill station,

Bandipur has an altitude of 1,030 m, and is situated in the
Mahabharat Range in Tanahu District of Gandaki Zone. It is
143 km to the west of Kathmandu, 73 km to the south of
Pokhara, 70 km to the north of Chitwan and 8 km from Dumre
Bazaar on the Prithvi Highway (Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway)
Bandipur is a picturesque town nestled in the Himalayan
foothills of Nepal, a land as famous for its natural beauty
as for the hospitality of its people. Bandipur lies midway
between the capital Kathmandu and Pokhara, another popular

Day 07 : Bandipur - Chitwan : 70 Km, 3

hours of journey under normal road condition.
Upon arrival the
naturalist will host reception, refreshments, briefing about
the programs and the lodge/camp facilities.
Royal Chitwan National Park:
The Royal Chitwan National Park is the lush valley of
Chitwan situated in the foothills of Churia ranges which
houses the first National Park of the Kingdom. This
National Park is famous for its variety of wildlife
especially the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros and the
elusive Royal Bengal Tiger.

08 Breakfast
at
the resort. Full day jungle Packages as per lodge program.
Where you will get excellent opportunities for bird watching
and excellent chance to see four kinds of deer, wild roar,
rhinoceros, monkeys, sloth bear, gaur and many other smaller
mammals.
Day 09 Chitwan - Daman
180km/ 6hrs
Daman is almost 2 /3 of the way back to Kathmandu. On
between Chitwan to Kathmandu, there is Naubise from where
road turns to north east which is called Tribhuwan Raj Path.
Located at 2500 m. elevation just 2 1/2 hours drive from
both Katmandu and Chitwan National Park , and 7 hours from
Pokhara.Nepal is the synonymous with the Himalaya. Eight of
the world’s ten highest mountains lie along its northern
border.
From Daman you can see these great view of Himalayas. Beside
this some beautiful villages of hilly reason of Nepal.
Day 10 Damann - Kathmandu : 44 Km -
2 & 1/2 hours drive
This morning return to Kathmandu. On arrival, visit
Kathmandu Durbar square, one of the major attractions in
Kathmandu Valley. The word Durbar Square translated in
English as Palace Complex. The Durbar Square, with its old
temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural
life of the people.
Day 11 Kathmandu Nagarkot
32km/1.45hrs
After breakfast visit the 2000 year old Swayambunath Stupa,
resting stop at a green hillock west of Kathmandu. It is
known as monkey temple as well. Charm with its great
dazzling stupa, while at the same time offers a marvelous
view of Kathmandu City. Our next destination is Patan, the
oldest and the second largest of the three major cities of
Kathmandu valley. Midway stop at a Tibetan refugee camp to
see the Tibetan carpet factory, you will see the spinning,
dyeing and weaving of the Tibetan Carpets. You may wish to
pick up your favorite carpet. After Sightseeing proceed to
Nagarkot a mountain resort which sits at 2300m above sea
level. From this lovely scenic spot if the sky is clear,
ones’ can watch the excellent view of the Himalayan range
including Mount Everest.
Day 12 Nagarkot Kathmandu
32km/1.45hrs
Early wake up to witness stunningly spectacular dawn (either
view on sunrise or sunset): the very first rays of the sun
firing the peaks, a lush red rays gradually lighting
Himalayas from Kanchenjunga and Everest in the far east to
the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri in the west. After having
lunch, leave for Kathmandu. Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 13 Nagarkot Kathmandu
After breakfast, free till departure transfer to the airport
for your flight home.
