Enjoy the sights of Old Delhi, Fall in love with the Taj
Mahal, sail on the River Ganges, see the pilgrims of
Varanasi. Discover the sights and sounds of Kathmandu and
see the wonder of Bhutan the last Shangri-la on earth!
Day 01 - Arrive Delhi On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred
to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy
basis. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 - Delhi
In the morning take a city tour covering Laxmi Narayan Temple
- The Place of Gods, India Gate - The memorial of martyrs,
Parliament House - The Government headquarters. In the afternoon
take a city tour of Old Delhi covering Jama Masjid - The largest
mosque in Asia, Red Fort - The red stone magic, Gandhi memorial
- The memoir of father of the nation. Also enjoy the sound
& light show in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 - Delhi - Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur. On arrival check into hotel. Day
free to enjoy city atmosphere. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 -Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amer Fort with joy ride on an Elephant
- The Fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, Afternoon
city tour covering City Palace - occupies a large area divided
into a series of courtyards, gardens & buildings and a
perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture, Royal
Observatory - An observatory with some rare qualities to its
credit, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli - The haveli which shows the
rare beauty of Rajasthani architecture, Bazaar etc. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 05 - Jaipur - Agra
Morning drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Old
Deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) - Jama Masjid, The Buland
Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal.
On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit Red Fort - a
visit to the fort in 'Agra' is must since so many of the events
which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here,
Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb - The tomb is of particular interest
since many of its design Elephants overshadow the Taj. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 06 - Agra - Khajuraho
Morning visit Taj Mahal by the rising sun - a poem written
in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built
for love, followed by transfer to Rly Station to catch train
to Jhansi arrive and proceed by surface to Khajuraho, arrive
and check-in to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Eastern / Western
group of Temples. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 - Khajuraho - Varanasi
Today tansfer to Airport to catch flight to Varanasi. On arrival
in Varanasi transfer to hotel. In the afternoon take an excursion
to Sarnath. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 - Varanasi
Varanasi's principle attraction is the string of bathing ghats,
which line the western ghats of River Ganges, enjoy boat ride
at dawn. After breakfast visit the Ghats, Tulsi Manas Temple,
Alamgir Temple, Bharat Mata Temple. Later free to roam about.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 - Varanasi - Kathmandu
Fly to Kathmandu on Indian airlines Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival KATHMANDU International Airport , welcome transfer
to hotel and rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at
hotel. O/N
Day 10 Sightseeing
After breakfast, Sightseeing Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddhanath
Stupa. Enjoy a traditional Nepalese dance program in the evening
Day 11 Everest Mountain flight ( Optional ) After breakfast,
either departure transfer to the airport for flight to Pokhara
or overland transportation to Pokhara. Check into hotel after
arriving at Pokhara. Rest of the day at leisure
Day 12 After breakfast, Early in the Morning visit Sarangkot
for to see the beautiful Himalayan Range and half day sightseeing
tour of the old and new city of Pokhara, David's fall, Seti
gorge, Bindabasini temple and Tibetan Refugee Camp. Return
to the hotel and after lunch, enjoy an hour's boat ride on
the Fewa lake.
Day 13 Drive to Chitwan, Evening Tharu village tour.
Day 14 Full Day Jungle Safari Packages - Elephant Safari,
Canno boating in river, visit Elephant breading centre, Jungle
walk etc
Day 15 After having breakfast, drive or fly back to Kathmandu
and full day rest for shopping. O/N
Day 16 fly to Bhutan Paro.
You will fly with Druk Air over the panoramic
Himalayan ranges from Kathmandu to Paro. Arrive at Paro airport
and drive for 2½ hour drive to Thimpu, the capital
of Bhutan. Overnight at a hotel in Thimpu.
Day 17
You will spend this day sightseeing the ancient city of Thimpu.
In the morning visit the Memorial Chortern of the Late King
Jigme Dorje Wangchuk in the heart of Thimpu and then proceed
to the Tashichhodzong, the beautiful medieval fortress/monastery
which houses most of the government offices and the King's
throne room. In the evening take a stroll downtown to the
Handicraft Development Corporation which displays a variety
of Bhutanese handicrafts. Overnight at a hotel in Thimpu.
Day 18
After breakfast take a leisurely drive to Paro. In the evening,
drive through the Paro valley; visit the Drukgyel Dzong from
this fort the Bhutanese repelled several invasions by Tibetan
armies. You will also be visiting Kyichu Lhakhang and the
National Museum located in Ta Dzong. Overnight at a hotel
in Paro.
Day 19
After breakfast drive to Sartsham Chorten. Two hours of horse
riding (optional) to Taktsang. After refreshments, a short
trek to Taktsang Lhakhang, the most famous of Bhutanese monasteries.
It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of
a tigress and meditated at this Monastery, hence it is called
"Tiger's Nest". After lunch, a slow downhill trek
to Sartsham Chorten and then drive to the hotel. Overnight
at a hotel in Paro.
Day 20
After breakfast depart from hotel to Paro Airport for your
flight to Kathmandu.
Day 21 Departure transfer to the airport
for onward flight.
Cost: They should arrange Indian Visa there in US and they
will get Nepal visa on arrival at our tribhuwan airport and
for Bhutan visa, we will prepare for them after tour booking
conformation. They should also arrange -Georgia - Delhi -
Georgia Air tickets. Other air tickets will arrange our self
for them.
Cost : Tour costs US $ 2650.00, air fare costs - $ 965.00
for Vanarasi - Kathmandu - Paro - Kathmandu
Visa and other - $ 150.00
COST INCLUDES: All hotel accommodation with breakfast as per
itinerary on twin sharing basis, private transportation as
per program, Monument entrance fees during sightseeing with
guide.
EXTRA COST: All personal nature expenses, Guide Tips, Lunch
